Convention Committee Pool Party

Hello Committee,
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the convention pool party yesterday afternoon. It was a great time.
I want to once again say thanks so much to our hosts Kim & Tony for opening up their home and pool to us and to Tony for his great work at the grill. Kim, who is our Unity Chair, was heard to say: “We really didn’t do anything.” We all know different. Thank you.
And thanks so much to everyone who brought out food and drink. The food was terrific from Matt’s kabobs to Melissa’s pasta salad and everything in between. I don’t even know who brought everything; Kim oversaw that impeccably. But everything was delicious, including the 17 or 18 (possible exaggeration) different kinds of pie. Mark’s keg of birch beer was a real treat. We don’t often see our crowd standing around a keg. I was told that our Setup & Security Chair came on Friday to bring chairs and an umbrella even though he was unable to attend due to a prior fellowship commitment. Thank you all for all you did.
It was quite a beautiful day and we can thank the One who presides over us all for that, but you amazing people made it quite a day for me and my family. It was so wonderful to have Melissa & Traz & Andy & Alexa & Dean & Madelyn & Eva & Page (hope I got the names right).
It was a spectacular time and everyone who came made it so.
For any committee member who was unable to attend, there’s lots more to come. We still have a winter party that is new this year and our Wilson House trip which is slated for January 15th through the 17th. I sure do hope everyone can come to East Dorset, VT. And we have lots of other possible get-togethers until the convention, a registration stuffing party or two, a possible trip to Stepping Stones for a day if we can work that out, and our write through on Sunday, March 21st, and probably more, not to mention all our regular committee meetings.
You are an awesome committee and I am blessed beyond my words to describe it to be a part of this group!
Thank you all so very much and God bless you,
Pat
