Good afternnon I am an alcoholic and my name is Joe M.
I am very glad to see everyone
I attended the Area 45 convention taking note of the way they handled some of their projects.
I finished the registration flyer with the changes and sent it to Pat
I have been in touch with Pat,Marianne H Tam Debby and Joe C
each committee will bring you up to speed on their efforts
Area functions:
CTF is hosting its conference on Oct 11th at Lamrd Church in Pitman
Day of Sharing will be Oct 18th in Bordentown
Please get directions offf the Area calendar for both events
I want to thank again those of you who sent your reports to Kelly and I before todays meeting.
It is a great help when everyone works together.
Please call myself or Pat if you need any help with anything.

Co-chair’s report, Sept 14th 2008
Since our meeting last month I did get the samples of the cups, mugs and pens. I will pass them around for everyone to have a look.
Also here is a little sample of what our 45th logo might look like on a t-shirt.
And thanks Joe C. It looks like we’ve gotten some great prices on the t-shirts as well. And I want to be sure to thank everyone for their hard work. As the convention nears, a lot goes on behind the scenes that take up time and effort. So thanks.

General Service Convention

program chairs report-Joanne C The following occurred for the this month:
*program Chair and Co Chair met several times to finalize the written program.
all workshops chairpersons have been called to confirm the title of their
workshop and their participation. The readers for each workshop have been
confirmed. We are still workingt didligently to complete the Marathon meeting
portion of the program. The written program will be completed this month.
*Dorothy H has graciously agreed to be the Friday night speaker from GSO
I have spoken with her and she is looking foward to joining us! Fred E Area 45
Delegate will ber her host.
*Calls were made to our Saturday night and Sunday morning speakers. Their travel
arrangements will be made after January 1 2009.
*We have been in contatc with the Alanon chair Helen and have finalized their portion of the program.
They have confirmed their speaker Larcene G of Hawthorne Ca and a confirmation letter was sent to her.
At this time we need to continue to ask for donations for the baskets for the speakers-we will need 3 of each item.
Currently ,we have NJ lighthouse magnets salt water taffy and tasty kakes.All donations are graciously accepted.
Please see me after the meeting if you would like to donate. Maryann has one again agreed to make the baskets.

Lastly we would like you to participate in selecting the readings that are read at each meeting and/or workshop
at the convention. If you have a favorite paragraph from AA approved literature,let us share it at the convention.

Again its been a slow month not much happening.On Oct 2nd Joe C and myself meet at the postoffice to open our post
office box ,Joe will carry the registration forms. He will be my liaison for the registrationforms. Our postoffice box address
is PO Box 116 Audubon NJ 08106. This will be where all the convention mail and registration forms will be delivered. Now treasurer
report our balance is as 10-04-08 is $4350.66 if your purchasing material for your committees please email your receipt or send
it to the po box then I will send you a check or give it to you at the next meeting. Thanks for leeting me serve as your

Spoke with Joe Mc. about last month's meeting and about printing of registration flyers.

Frank Z. has graciously agreed to come over again along with my Co-Chair Joe C. to go over the PC Program (compuer glitches last time).

I hope to get together with Tam, my table manager soon about scheduling.

confirmed and approved from the last meeting we are wearing sailor hats to be in the theme of the logo.

The Banquet Committee met on 9-28-08
We discussed the following:
1.ideas for the table settings
2.different centerpieces
3.possibility of an interactive treasure hunt game
4.still inquiring about a pianist/harpest depending
upon which is easiest to navigate in the Riverside Room.

Announced group anniversaries,celebrations and things going on the area.Flyers are available for
whoever is interested.No member anniversaries since our last meeting.
The Wilson House is booked for Jan 16-18.There is room for approximately 30 people.
price per person is estimated to be about $200 per person.Price will reduce or increase depending on the attendance of people.
Deposits are required by Dec 8th meeting.
Meal prices are as follows:Friday night supper $10 ( $8 for those over 60) Saturday breakfast $8 Saturday supper $15
We don not serve meals on Sunday
The local AA group put out a continental breakfast on Sunday morning before the "as Bill sees it" meeting for a donation.
